I write press releases, web content, social media content and conduct media relations that help tell the stories of the College of Agriculture and Applied Sciences and Utah Agricultural Experiment Station (UAES). I oversee publication of three magazines, each published semi-annually: Utah Science, covering UAES-supported research across 7 colleges); Cultivate, the college's alumni magazine; USU School of Veterinary Medicine Magazine for alumni and friends of USU's vet school. I assist with broader marketing efforts related to development, student recruitment and legislative lobbying.

I wrote press releases and led media relations activities for the College of Science, College of Engineering, College of Agriculture, including the Space Dynamics Laboratory, Utah Water Research Lab and the Utah Agricultural Experiment Station (UAES). I contributed feature stories to Utah Science magazine, published by UAES.

Covered public and higher education locally and legislative issues related to education. Also wrote feature stories on broader topics and helped launch a newspapers in education program.
