My beginnings were in production at 3 different advertising agencies. After 10 years at Martin/Williams I went to work at the Duffy Design Group. There I was fortunate to work closely with the best designers on typography, logos and graphic illustration. I had a small studio in the warehouse district downtown Minneapolis for 22 years and did work for corporate clients and small businesses. I loved being downtown. I started Calling myself "Icon Woman" when I was doing freelance work for Bath & Body Works. They would send me a name (for a product flavor) and I came up with a simple illustration for the label. Then I ended up doing the labels. I also had Morningstar Coffee as a client. I did their logo and packaging while they had a presence in Kowalski's Markets. I also did labels for their Restaurant Blends Coffee which they sell at the locations they provide coffee - like the D'amico and Keys Restaurants.Specialties: Details. I like to work on logos and "icons". I work on graphic illustrations used on packaging and labels. Recently I worked on some illustrations used on the new Jack Daniels label. I design and do my own production and I can also assist other designers or art directors. I can refine artwork in Photoshop and can do all sorts of cards, announcements, packaging, labels, flyers, brochures, signage and more. I can make anything messy look tidy!!
