As part of the Knowledge & Insight team at United Utilities, I lead the development and implementation of knowledge management practices and systems to enhance our innovation capabilities and drive measurable business value. Reporting to the Knowledge & Insight Manager, my role is focused on facilitating the creation of new processes, embedding data capture, and sharing insights across the organisation. I oversee key knowledge management systems that ensure the seamless capture, storage, retrieval, and sharing of critical information.My responsibilities include:- Developing and promoting knowledge management tools and frameworks that drive best practices and safeguard intellectual capital for long-term success.- Showcasing our engineering innovation achievements at key stages through internal and external channels, including Yammer, LinkedIn, and more, to inspire further innovation and raise the profile of United Utilities.- Coordinating knowledge-sharing seminars and supplier events, facilitating collaboration across the water sector and beyond.- Promoting innovation stories across various digital platforms and creating compelling content to disseminate project outcomes.- Serving as a focal point for communication between teams, aligning innovation efforts, and fostering a culture of shared learning.With a strong focus on delivery and the ability to streamline processes, I bring a passion for innovation and improvement, helping teams at United Utilities stay informed on emerging technologies, market trends, and best practices.
