My team was responsible for SOC focused technologies in the Fortinet portfolio, including SIEM, SOAR, performance monitoring, and threat research. During my time in this role I had to transition engineers through turbulent restructuring initiatives. On going efforts included the promotion of SOC products and education both the Fortinet field sales organization and our partners.

Worked as a CSE and Technical team lead for the Fortinet ATP product line. These products included Load Balancing, Web Application Firewall, Sandboxing, Secure Mail Gateway, Secure Web Proxy, Deception, CASB and Cloud Workload Protection, and Fortinet’s end point software, among others. This team supported the Western half of the US and Canada and was brought in early to support everything from Demos to PoCs to quoting for these specialized products. While primarily responsible for the business in the Western US, I was brought in to support opportunities large and small across the US and was a technical escalation point for the ATP team.

Worked as a CSE supporting large pre-sales opportunities as a technical expert focused on the FortiGate firewalls as well as FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer. Responsible for large scale routing design validation and troubleshooting, lab environment mock ups, customer specific Security effectiveness testing, and performance testing with load test tools like Ixia Breaking Point. While in this role I developed the expertise in newly introduced platforms and generated training material to deliver to the rest of the Sales Engineering workforce. I also helped bring to a close most of the initial deals of our newest and largest scale firewalls during this period.

As a Solutions Architect the role supported both sell to and sell through opportunities with some of Radware's largest OEM partners including working on DDoS integration with the Cisco Firepower. Responsibilities included troubleshooting integration issues, working on future planning of product road map to better address the needs of the marketplace. Also responsible for training field engineers on partnerships and acted as an overlay for sales engagements and proof of concepts. Finally development of documentation and solution guides which are used to help as sales aids and implementation of products.

Also landed the largest single PO in company history. Responsibilities included direct customer engagement supporting the entire sales process from initial call to the close of the order. Worked on training and education of other SEs in the Western US. Acted as an overlay for security particularly when it came to cloud environments and automation, and was brought in to help with PoCs in other territories and to help with executive engagement. Also was responsible for public speaking at Radware events and Industry conferences.
