Successfully manage and challenge on resources, materials and equipment usage to ensure delivery of service excellence across all planned and reactive mechanical, electrical, equipment and fabric maintenance in the most economical and effective manner. Assisting MITIE to continue the collaboration and further build on the transformational partnership with Lloyds Banking Group, one of the largest private sector contracts of its type, to deliver world class facilities management services. I manage forty direct reports with my overall objective to support the Director in the profitable, efficient and safe running of buildings under my remit in compliance with the MITIE/Lloyds Banking Group contract as well as company policies and procedures, health and safety, quality and environmental systems

Hold full responsibility for bidding, managing and negotiating with key contracts and suppliers to ensure day to day operational activity to the running of SPT’s Subway and Bus stations. Manage one direct report and the following contracts and frameworks that include:-Facilities Management-Technical & Transport/Rail Specifics-Suppliers-Services-Proposed and implemented a number of improvements which significantly increased effectiveness and savings for the business.

Solely managed the Strathclyde Fire & Rescue contract for the business. This involved managing a pool of Skilled Engineers of various trades and specialist contractors to carry out all requirements associated with this contract. Assisted management of the other contracts that the business had been awarded including:- Royal Mail- Housing Associations - Care Homes

I managed and controlled all aspects of the business including: Brand Management, Marketing, Customer Relationship Management, Sales, Quality Manager, Recruitment, HR, Finance, Advertising (including company website), B2B and B2C.I built and grew the business with constant focus on continuous change and improvement.
