Design of a trans-femoral prosthetic featuring self-aligning, low tolerance gears in a rotational joint inspired by the planthopper 'issus coleoptratus'. Designed to be modular, low-cost, and constructed from readily sourced materials - addressing the labor-intensive and materially expensive environmental costs of current prosthetics.

Liaise with clients, stakeholder groups, and technical staff by providing design and manufacturing assistance to the machine shop.
