In my current role I have had extensive advisory and transactional experience in relation to ANZ’s statutory, regulatory and contractual arrangements. This advice has been predominantly in relation to ASIC requirements, the Banking Code of Practice, Consumer Credit Code, Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) Terms of Reference, ANZ product’s terms and conditions.The above experience has been particularly valuable in view of the new ASIC RG 165 requirements, the new Responsible Lending legislation, ANZ’s obligations under the Code of Banking Practice, the Privacy Act – and FOS jurisdiction. My corporate and financial services experience within ANZ has developed a strong understanding of the mechanics of complex financial arrangements – which has enabled an ability to quickly comprehend ANZ’s obligations in relation to a myriad of banking and finance related products – and further enabled the provision of pragmatic and commercial for the Bank in relation to same.
