In this position, I am in charge of all of the mass brands and event planning for our location. “Mass” brands and all brands that can be found in local stores. I am in charge that these brands are fully stocked, the updated material is in place, and that our team is aware of all of the brands in this department. As for event planning, I reach out to various prestige brands and invite them to host an event at our location. I’ve worked with brands such as Coty fragrance, Tula Skincare, Nars Cosmetics, Ester Lauder and more. To prepare for these events, I communicate with the brand partners, set up training for these brands, set sales goals for the event, and set up displays for the brand. In this position, I also manage a team of beauty advisors to assist guests at our location, open and close the store, in charge of payroll, counting the money for the store, and much more.

I was brought on to the Ulta Beauty team as a beauty advisor. I learned all the aspects of the company and was then promoted to Merchandise Service Coordinator. In this position, I was in charge of all things operational. This included, but not limited to, processing the shipment of products, getting all products out on the floor in less than 24 hours, recording inventory inaccuracies,assisting with floor resets, and opening and closing the store. I also managed a team of employees to process shipment in a timely manner, assists guests with any needs, and register functions.

In this position, I was in control of the guests experience. As guests came in, I would great them and assist all needs they have. This would include, but not limited to, sharing product knowledge, showing guests where product is located, finding the correct shade, and knowing various ingredients. In the position, I’d also do various task work such as restocking, assisting with shipment, and assisting with floor resets.

As a sales consultant for Cyclebar, I assisted members with selecting a ride package. After going over the riders individual goals and lifestyle, I would assist them with choosing which package suits their lifestyle. I was also a key holder which gave me the ability to open and close the cycling studio. With this responsibility, I ensured that all members were checked in, following safety procedures, and that the class was being run smoothly. In this role I learned all of my basic knowledge of sales and where I fell in love with it.
