I take existing 3D parts and mate them together with in the Solidworks program. I would physically build the machine with real parts to verify that everything worked in the real world. Then I would create a document used to instruct a manufacturing line how to assemble each and every part together, which included wire routing, torque settings, fixtures, etc.

I verified that each and every person on the assembly line was assembling their given parts correctly and to the process sheets created by Manufacturing Engineering. I would verify all of the correct tools were used and at the appropriate setting. I would verify all deviations from the process sheets were executed correctly. I would prepare the process sheets for the assembly lines and I would return them to the Manufacturing Engineering department when the line was finished with them. I was part of the leadership team that ran the assembly line.

I helped build treadmills, with the use of air tools, wrenches, mallets, staple guns, etc. I also built the literature packs that are sent out with each treadmill produced. This required a great deal of accuracy and the use of a scale to ensure all parts are present and accounted for.
