Honda Development and Manufacturing America, USA:As an AWS Data Architect, the responsibility is to architect and implement an end-to-end data pipeline and implement transformation solution between the Honda systems and Blue Yonder WMS to track ASN receive and acknowledgement, Inventory receipt and adjustment, production planning for building the IPU. This involves comprehensive data mapping during the design phase, focusing on data lineage and data quality assurance to ensure accurate transformation and mapping between source and target systems.Key responsibilities include:AWS ETL Architecture: Design and implement an AWS ETL pipeline that ingests data from AWS RDS PostgreSQL. Ensure pipeline is architected for scalability, fault tolerance, and optimized performance, supporting both batch and near-real-time ingestion.Data Transformation and Enrichment: Develop robust transformation logic within the ETL pipeline by leveraging AWS services to enhance raw data with necessary business rules, apply data enrichment processes, and perform data validation checks Data Standardization: Conduct in-depth analysis of data requirements, volume, and ingestion frequency. Perform data profiling and standardization activities.AWS Data Pipeline Design: Architect a data pipeline leveraging AWS services (such as Glue, AWS RDS PostegreSQL, ATHENA, S3, Cloudwatch, Step Function,SNS, SQS, Lambda, API Gateway) to transform and prepare data on a data platform, ready for publishing to the WMS( REST-API) via DataPower.Design near-real-time data handover processes by implementing AWS API Gateway and Lambda functions to initiate secure, efficient API calls that push transformed JSON data directly to Blue Yonder WMS endpoints, supporting low-latency data transfer and integration.Solution to ensure robust, scalable data integration with Blue Yonder WMS, enabling accurate, timely tracking of building/shipping IPU parts across legacy and modernized systems within AWS.
