Adapting with a fast changing and expanding business, the scope of my role has increased dramatically over my tenure. Initially (2017) I was responsible for a single business unit (Logistics Services Australia), where I managed a team of 4 analysts who provided commercial analytics to 10 sales staff nationally. I was responsible for monitoring and optimising commercial solutions for the business and its customers and as their needs and business goals change. In 2018 the role expanded to encompass all eight business units, with a heavy focus on new business - this involved a considerable amount of converting & cleaning data into a usable format, performing analyses and proposing a commercial solution to the customer. This process required a great deal of creative thinking and close attention to detail. Ontop of providing solutions for qualified leads, I was also responsible for the creation and responses to pricing tenders and RFPs.Highlights: scoping, development and implementation of the customer profile form, collecting more information upfront, to allow more in depth analysis and sequentially more appropriate solutions for our customers.In 2019 the role developed to leading a team who seeks out margin and process improvement initiatives within efm. This change required a great deal of communication across the business at multiple levels, particularly C-Suite. Yielding actual fiscal results as well as quantifiable time saved in multiple departments. I was additionally tasked with the complex modelling of proposed business models, validating their profitability and operations.Highlights: repeatedly hitting stretch growth targets for margin improvement initiatives.Implementing a new uprate process through the utilisation of our CRM and increasing our annual uprate compliance return.Historically I was also responsible for the cross functional management of the CRM system (Salesforce), as well as master data management of the businesses own ERP system.

In addition to my existing Commercial Analyst duties I was responsible for carrying out more complicated analyses, on larger customer profiles and attending customer facing presentations. While still supporting the sales and account management teams, I developed into a partnering role, rather than support, offering more insights and recommendations supported by my experience.I also worked on the development of other analysts in the team, this included reviewing their analyses, highlighting any errors and aiding them on next steps.

Responsible for the invoicing and customer billing of three business units. This entailed the reconciliation of invoice costs, comparing expected vs actual charges, understanding of discrepancies and raising queries and claims where required. I completed root cause analysis of repetitive discrepancies and identified updates required for system accuracy & integrity and I was able to repetitively hit weekly invoicing amount targets and deadlines. This ensured our customers received trusted, accurate and timely invoices on a weekly basis.
