My marketing career was the best accident that ever happened to me. And the story of how I got here sounds completely made up. I’ll tell you about that in a moment, but first, here’s work-me: I’m a storyteller at heart, crafting data-informed content that makes audiences fall in love with products and brands. I love nothing more than sitting with a bunch of analysts and creatives, turning our insights and creative learnings into compelling stories for our next set of customers. Having cut my teeth at a fast-paced startup, I now have more than 8 years of experience spanning creative strategy, growth and performance marketing, art direction, and content production. A jack of all trades if you will, I love work that keeps me on my toes. Art direct this photoshoot? Sure! Make a video for social using just a potato? Of course! My versatility, curious mind, and comfort in being wrong have always been key to my success. And as for how I got here: I’ve always been a Creative and a Maker, working long hours to fund my next project. So when I fell in love with my wife who lived on the other side of the world, I packed my toolboxes, and moved from London to California. While looking for work I started a leatherworking business and invested in the Glowforge pre-order campaign, knowing a laser would help me grow my business. Not willing to wait for the product to ship, I joined the Glowforge team, and there I stayed for 8 years. Thanks to an incredible group of leaders who helped nurture my curiosity and leverage my passion, I’ve grown from an artist to a full-stack creative marketer. And now? Well I’ve come full circle, except now I get paid to create. If you’re looking for someone to join your team, or just want to talk about content strategy, table saws or anything in between, connect with me!
