As a curious critical thinker, I've always been fascinated by the impact of words, how to craft meaningful ideas, and learning through research.Currently I am the Data and Research Associate for the Los Angeles Promise Zone, where I collaborate with the Mayor's Office of Economic Opportunity and nonprofits to support poverty alleviation initiatives and quality of life in diverse, low-income neighborhoods in central LA. At Syracuse University I triple majored in magazine journalism, international relations, and Spanish. Through my studies, I cultivated my interests in narrative storytelling, investigating ways history interacts with communities in the present, and how intersecting identities influence our perspectives.Using my skills in qualitative research and thoughtful analysis, I am eager to understand the impact of current events on digital communication and how to share avenues of communication across all cultures.I am also passionate about analyzing film and music through political and sociological contexts.
