Currently transitioning career paths and participating in the Funded Law Education Program through the United States Marine Corps with the goal of becoming a Judge Advocate. Captain Madison Bernal is a rising second year law student at Charleston School of Law. Captain Bernal has a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Cyber Operations from the U.S. Naval Academy, where she learned the technical foundations of computer programming and the necessary tools to be successful for both offensive and defensive cyber postures. She commissioned in the U.S. Marine Corps in 2019 and was selected to be a logistics officer. As a logistician she applied her knowledge and skills while serving as a Motor Transportation Officer, Maintenance Management Officer, and Executive Officer. She deployed twice to the Pacific Region and has supported multiple exercises and operations in Japan and South Korea. Captain Bernal demonstrated her proficiency in operational logistics planning and execution, maintenance management, and leadership, contributing to the success of her units and the Marine Corps.
