This role at Spaces is responsible for creating and maintaining a thriving community of entrepreneurs, freelancers, small businesses, and large corporations; for identifying, nurturing and closing new business opportunities, as well as building long-term relationships with existing customers; and for driving revenue growth through effective sales strategies and collaboration with the Spaces team.Key responsibilities:➤ Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.➤ Build and maintain relationships with current and potential customers, identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional services.➤ Lead and motivate a team of Community Associates to ensure revenue targets are met.➤ Foster a sense of community amongst members by organizing events and networking opportunities.➤ Work with the Operations team to ensure that Spaces is a welcoming and vibrant environment.

Fall 2020:HIST369: The Politics of DecolonizationThis course examined the break-up of empires in the mid/late 20th century, and assessed how the colonial experience has shaped relations between and among former imperial polities to the present. Focus was given to questions of political identity in colonial and post-colonial societies, and how these identities have shaped current political challenges.Winter 2021:HIST205: The History of Western SportThis course considered the historical impact of Western sport. It traced the history from individual play through amateurism to professionalism, big business, and media. It examined sport's social role within local, national, and international communities, and its relationship to class, gender, leisure, race, and politics.
