I've been designing websites since 1999, and professionally, since approximately 2001. During the course of my career, I've worked both for organizations and as a freelance designer. I enjoy web design because I get to design for a myriad of businesses and subjects which call for many different ways of being tricky. Each new project challenges me to find new and different solutions to make each site unique. I also enjoy teaching. I've been teaching since the late 1990s, when I tutored electronic music techniques. Much later, after college when I began working in Lane's IT department, I helped educate faculty at the local college as they learned to put their course materials online. At the same time, I taught web design classes and saw several of my students flourish and go on to create designs that I certainly could never dream up. It's stunning to see students pick up what I've taught them and become successful in life and love what they're doing. I plan to continue teaching again some day (soon, I hope).Specialties: Content and graphics development, interface composition, content tweaking for increased search engine attention (SEO).
