As Business Development Officer and Legal Assistant, I coordinated events including senior partner retirements and additionally direct firm mergers and new firm integration. I also performed policy research and drafting as well as media relations and releases. Furthermore, I facilitated bookkeeping, HR, and payroll regulation; in addition, tracked company activities and monitored overlooked enterprise activities. Some of my select accomplishments include: ~ Designated as co-lead on firm redevelopment activities and prioritized company goals. ~ Appointed as project manager throughout exit strategy and site relocation facilitation; executed 70% downsizing and redistribution of resources into new law firm offices.

I reported necessary activities to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Executive Director as Chief Communications and Engagement / Communications Officer. I also championed the development of effective internal and external communication and media / community relations strategies. I then crafted and revised communications policies and procedures, as well as wrote and edited annual reports, media releases, media briefing materials, speaking notes, and internal / external newsletters. In addition, I monitored available resources and mitigated other miscellaneous staff conflicts and problems.Some of my select accomplishments and projects include: ~ Selected as Internal / External Communications Lead throughout Transfer of Governance for Mental Health Acute Care Services (2011 to 2013) and Interim Mental Health Third-Floor Renovation and Services Site Transfers (2013 to 2014) projects. ~ Planned communications and public relations strategies for BGH Maternal Services Centennial (2012) and End of Life Information Symposium (2013). ~ Spearheaded all communications matters enterprise-wide and for individual hospital programs and departments; functioned as key media contact. ~ Oversaw social media development and presented information at Social Media in Healthcare Conference in January 2013. ~ Managed external website and led 2013 revitalization as webmaster. ~ Developed and launched comprehensive communications plans throughout 2010 to 2013. ~ Directed public spaces signage creation and integration across five hospital sites.

As co-chair and events coordinator with Beacon 50 Committee, I created and launched the six-day event commemorating our 50-year anniversary of St. Lawrence Seaway opening. This event demonstrated township agriculture, history, business, arts, tourism, and youth activities.

I drafted corporate materials and managed projects in support of small business needs at Words, Ink. I additionally wrote, edited, and optimized promotional materials. Throughout all of my job duties, I liaised with clients including Cornwall General Hospital, Mental Health Crisis Team of SD&G, and Eastern Ontario Health Unit.Special projects included:Marketing, Public Relations and Communications Lead for Our Hospital, Our Future $10 Million Fundraising Initiative Major Donor Segment 2004 to 2005 (Cornwall Community Hospital).
