I am currently a Senior at the University of Northern Colorado pursuing a degree in marketing with an emphasis in digital marketing. I will be graduating in the Spring of 2024 from the Monfort College of Business here at UNCo. Through a great deal of hard work and determination, I earned my Associates Degree in Business from Aims Community College, in just one year. Driven and anxious to continue my education, I transferred to UNCo in the fall of 2022. My time in both programs, has allowed me to expand my skills and knowledge, equipping me to succeed in the business world. After beginning school as a general business major, I quickly found that I had a niche for marketing. I am extremely interested in continuing to growing my knowledge as well as pursing a career in marketing specifically in relation to concepts such as...-Digital Marketing-Content Marketing -SEO Stragety -Marketing AnalyticsThese skills were a few of many that I gained a great deal of hands on experience in as a Marketing Intern at Scheel's, an extremely large retail corporation located here in Colorado as well as various other locations throughout the country. During the Summer of 2023, I helped to run the social media pages for the Johnstown Scheels location. I gained a great deal of knowledge in working through various Ad Campaigns that we ran as a company in addition to using my creativity to generate content ideas! In the Spring of 2022 I was given the outstanding opportunity to enter the world of retail sales at Scheel's. Working here has solidified my passion for working with people and has sparked my desire to continue pursue a career in sales following graduation. I am constantly fascinated by the art of selling and what drives consumers to purchase the products and services that they do. I look forward to furthering my career in sales and continuing to advance my knowledge in the field with hands on experience.
