Technical specialist in the application of prediction methods for noise and vibration control, low noise design and physical acoustics, and in the application of measurement methods to validate predictions.Former chair of the Noise and Vibration Engineering Group at the UK Institute of AcousticsTechnical interests:- Modelling and prediction methods in dynamics, acoustics, vibroacoustics and aeroacoustics- Low noise design for all types of machinery and transportation systems- Design of specialist buildings and test facilities for low vibration and noise- Aerodynamic noise generation by aircraft, cars, trains, wind turbines, fans and whistling buildings.-
