Building Bridges; Healing divides is a Lilly Grant Recipient for the Thriving Ministries Initiative. As Grant Program Manager I act as direct administrative support, coordinating communications, managing reporting and financials and collaborating with the Grant Director on program development and design.

What a wonderful opportunity this was for me to explore my passion for teaching and my love for hanging out with kids. I primarily worked with children and youth ages 5-18, teaching their weekly Sunday School curriculum, and designing their youth group activities. I coordinated volunteers to assist in teaching and preaching a small children's sermon and coordinated with parents for various youth activities. I helped to coordinate and host the first Summer VBS the church had seen in over 10 years, and was active in establishing a Pancake Supper art contest tradition and a Trunk-Or-Treat event for families. This was a 10 hr/week position, though i did work above and beyond.

Assisted customers with purchases, made suggestions and took measurements for men's tailored clothing, opened credit applications.

Assisted developmentally disabled adults within their own shared homes providing encouragement, observing meds, driving clients to appointments and offering my help for the expansion of social opportunity through any assistance necessary.

Created and designed printed media for the publicity of the Theatre Program at Eastern Washington University. Managed box office and box office volunteers.
