I currently hold the Engineering Associate II position in SC DES's Coastal Stormwater Permitting section where I review construction applications, plan sets, and SWPPP reports to ensure proper sediment and erosion control BMPs are being utilized to meet NPDES CGP requirements before issuing NPDES construction permits. I am a May, 2020 graduate of Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biosystems Engineering. Some of my interests include alternative fuel/energy, bioplastics, environmental remediation, and horticulture.Biosystems engineers lead teams to: • Design bioprocesses and systems for biofuels (biodiesel, hydrogen, ethanol), biopharmaceutical, bioplastics, and food processing industries • Develop ecological designs (permeable pavement, bioswales, green infrastructure) to integrate stormwater management into the landscape • Integrate biological sustainability into energy, water and food systems • Provide engineering expertise for agriculture, food processing, and manufacturing industries.
