I am a Computer Science/Technology Teacher at American Leadership Academy (ALA), where I introduce 7th graders to the study of computers and algorithmic processes, and their applications and impact on society. With the help of various tools and platforms, such as Scratch, Code.org, and Google CS First, I design and deliver engaging and interactive lessons that foster students' curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving skills.I have a Bachelor of Applied Science in Elementary Education and Teaching from Southern Utah University, where I learned the foundations of pedagogy, curriculum development, assessment, and classroom management. I also hold a teaching license and a certification in Structured English Immersion, which enables me to support the diverse needs and abilities of my students. I am passionate about inspiring the next generation of computer scientists and innovators, and I continuously seek new ways to improve my teaching practice and expand my knowledge.
