The Intellectual Property (IP) Section of the Kentucky Bar Association (KBA) was established on July 1, 2023, with a mission to provide information, foster a supportive environment, and promote diversity and inclusion in intellectual property law. We accomplish this through a range of KBA-sponsored programs that cover all aspects of IP, including patents, trademarks, trade secrets, and copyrights. Our goal is to create a collaborative forum that offers assistance in the rapidly evolving field of Intellectual Property Law. We engage with other KBA Sections and take positions on matters of public interest that affect intellectual property. By disseminating information, our aim is to enhance public understanding of Intellectual Property Law and collaborate with relevant organizations across the state to raise awareness. Join us as we work together to advance the field of intellectual property and foster a diverse and inclusive community.
