- Hire, manage work flow, and mentor two interns per semester.- Register over 160 schools annually for Young People’s Concerts for Schools, invoice, track payments, and manage front-of-house at the events. Send post-concert surveys to collect data regarding the concert and activities and then analyze data for incorporation into next season's concert.- Coordinate training sessions for over 40 pre-professional musical ensembles annually, working with musicians of the orchestra, Group Sales staff, and Volunteer Corps invoicing, tracking payments, sending receipts, scheduling musicians and processing payments for them. Coordinating with partner organizations for staffing musicians, including scheduling transportation and payment, for rehearsals and concerts at various off-site venues. - Manage programs surrounding Very Young People’s Concerts at Merkin Hall including the setup for pre- and post-concert “stations” and providing orientation to student teachers and Volunteer Corp. Order and setup food, distribute comp tickets and process payments for the musicians. - Manage YPC Overtures, including volunteer and staff orientation and payment to all musicians. - Work with Manager of School Programs and with Manager of Very Young Composers, support in-school and on-site activities and teaching artist faculty for Philharmonic Schools and Very Young Composers. - Process all financial transactions of the department, including timesheets for teaching artists, payments from the DOE, invoicing, coding expense and income, and routing paperwork.- Manage rehearsal attendance by emerging professional musicians with the Conservatory Collaboration program.
