Conservation International's (CI's) Center for Environmental Leadership in Business (CELB) leads the organization's work with corporate partners to make business a positive force for nature and people. As the Director of Communications, I develop and lead the execution of CELB's communications strategy, producing and managing internal and external communications for the division, as well as for individual corporate programs. In addition, identify and maintain a calendar of events to elevate and demonstrate CELB's thought leadership at conferences and meetings.

Conservation International (CI) works with corporate partners to find innovative ways to meet growing global demand for food, water and energy that result in positive benefits for both people and the planet. For almost 15 years, CI has been bringing industry leaders together through its Business & Sustainability Council (BSC)--a powerful platform for learning and collaborative action on sustainability. The BSC affirms the role of businesses as positive drivers of sustainable development. As the BSC Manager, I support CI’s efforts to develop new relationships with companies that support membership to the BSC, create promotional collateral for recruitment and retention efforts, and engage members in the BSC benefits (including our annual meeting, quarterly learning tools, stakeholder engagement tools and more).

The Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund (CEPF) provides grants to nongovernmental and private sector organizations to help protect biodiversity hotspots​, Earth’s most biologically rich yet threatened areas. As the Communications Manager, I produced high-quality stories, interviews, photo galleries, video, blog posts and other content for CEPF and Conservation International's (CI's) Ecosystem and Finance Division websites. I also supported the production of newsletters and regular "Lessons Learned" features with CEPF grantees, led social media engagement for CEPF, and served as communications liaison to CEPF's regional implementation teams and grantees, providing technical and editorial guidance to enable them to communicate effectively about CEPF's program and results, and determining communications tools needed from CEPF to facilitate effective outreach and reporting to CEPF communications.
