- As a marine engineer, I worked on Royal Navy flotilla programs as well as the Cammell Laird shipyard, inspecting, testing, and overhauling the shipyard's machinery.- Introduced a new initial and final reporting system to the customer which improved the company's reporting system enhancing process efficiency and credibility.

I was responsible for overseeing and coordinating all operations and shipboard maintenance activities, including overhauling, repairs, installations, and inspections of on board machineries.

In addition to serving as a point of contract across department, I was responsible for conducting major overhauls for five cylinder units of the MITSU MAN B7W, 10K98MC-77,770 BHP, and gained valuable experience in planning and executing operations, as well as preparing 6000 TEU containers for inspection. Managed dry dock activities, including overhauling M/E units.  I received acknowledgement for executing team building strategies and guiding junior engineer and crew to ensure good output and achieving all goals.

It was my responsibility to manage critical systems including power generation and propulsion, steam generation, domestic water, reefers, and air conditioning systems. Among the highlights of my role as team leader was the continuous replacement of high pressure pipe lines for hatch covers, windlasses, and winches, as well as overhauling hatch cover hydraulic jacks.

Over the course of my tenure with the organization, I was responsible for the maintenance of diesel generators, boilers, pumps, heat exchangers, turbines, de-mineralizers, purifiers, air compressors, oily water separator, sewage treatment plant, incinerator, fresh water generator and pumps. Assisted in the preparation of vessels for Flag State, Classification Society, ISM and internal audits/vettings in order to receive as few or no observations/remarks as possible to enhance the hire value of the vessel.
