    ▪ Software Development – Developed several software prototypes in support of GSI-191 (nuclear plant safety system issue) resolution. The success of the initial prototypes led to the establishment of a permanent software development team and initiative at ENERCON. The team developed several commercially successful packages. Provided support at every stage of the software development lifecycle (requirements elicitation, architecture, design, implementation, documentation). Created proposals and presentations for customers and management.▪ Data Analysis – Developed interactive SQL-based applications. Analyzed and visualized large datasets using software (e.g. Access, Excel, PowerBi...). Created VBA macros and Office add-ins to automate data analysis.▪ CAD Automation – Supported the development of large 3D parametric models of nuclear power plant containment buildings. Developed streamlined processes and automated solutions for the creation, modification, and analysis of large CAD models. Created photorealistic 3D animations that included particle effects, physical interactions, narration, and sound effects.▪ Solution Architecture – Provided general engineering support for GSI-191 resolution. Reviewed analysis models to determine whether they were efficient, computable, and generalizable. Created and programmed numerous algorithms for evaluating a broad range of GSI-191 phenomena.▪ Business Development – Introduced and lead an employee based initiative to create an online tool to encourage company-wide, bottom-up innovation. Nominated and selected into the 2017 Emerging Leaders program. Member of the ESOP (Stock Ownership) Committee. 2014 Albuquerque Engineer of the Year.

Used an automated laser workstation to process smart materials.▪ FEA – Developed novel physical models of artificial muscles that included coupled chemical, mechanical, and electrical phenomena. The analysis was automated using Comsol Multiphysics and Matlab.▪ Mentorship – Trained and supported incoming student-employees. Wrote lab procedures and manuals. Gave presentations to middle and high school students to foster an interest in science and engineering.
