About Steven Parks

I am a software engineer specializing in Java development and providing technical leadership to development teams.I continue to study and explore patterns and anti-patterns as they relate to the development of Java Enterprise systems as well as patterns related to service-oriented architecture. Our move to an increasingly disconnected-style architecture puts more emphasis on availability as well as real-world limitations on bandwidth It also increases the need to test how the system will perform under these varying conditions.Specialties: I specialize in enterprise-level Java development including interfaces with external ERP vendors including SAP as well as Enterprise Bus architectures for both internal, as well as for communication with external legacy systems.Leading and providing mentorship to a development team, often geographically dispersed.
