She managed endowment assets of $100M+, operations + financial systems, programs serving field leaders nationwide, a staff team of 65+ working in DC and NY, and the board of directors. A native New Yorker who lives in the DC area, Mara talks fast and is committed to mission-driven work. She loves to escape to the movies and theatre and take long walks. Mara serves as Vice Chair of Theatre Washington and leads their Governance Committee.
