Margaret Fuller Neighborhood House (MFNH) has assisted the most vulnerable people in the Cambridge/Greater Boston community, spearheading critical services to help thousands of families, children, and seniors. MFNH is the 11th oldest settlement house in the United States, founded 120+ years ago.Crisis response, stabilization and advancement for families and individuals and a robust fresh produce food pantry are the essential services currently provided.Accomplishments during this leadership engagement (via Interim Executive Solutions):• Led interventions to address organizational and financial stabilization after periods of frequent turnover in its leadership and increased deficits. Increased Charity Navigator Rating from 2 to 4 Stars• Implemented theory of change and performance measurement outcome and impact-based initiatives • Generated significant new revenue and large budget surplus• Prepared the organization for next stages in its strategic and operational design.• Continues as an Associate with Interim Executive Solutions.

Designer and director of programs that helped public sector (Departments of Social Services in various New England states) and private human service organizations improve service capacities and meet mandates to prepare adolescents in foster care systems for adult life and community living. National curricula projects developed in conjunction with National Resource Center for Youth Services and other national organizations. Also provided new program designs, technical assistance services, resources and tools, and staff mentoring and training to various community organizations throughout greater Boston so that they may improve their youth and community services delivery system.
