Reliability Maintenance Engineering Area Manager, line manager for a team of engineering technicians, maintaining the focus on safety by training, developing and coaching the team. Deliver a high level of equipment availability by ensuring all preventative maintenance is conducted and internal processes and procedures are followed.Key Responsibilities- Lead, support and mentor the team by finding barriers that prevent them from working in a safe, standard and efficient manner. Work with the team and the wider network to harness the technical expertise available and build solutions.- Support the Reliability Maintenance Engineering Manager as they work with the site Safety department & Site Leadership to implement, record and audit safety and statutory compliance programmes to provide a safe working environment for all staff.- Implement network standards and focus on preventative maintenance to provide a high level of equipment availability to our internal customers.- Ensure sufficient technical coverage is available for the shifts they own by managing and driving the training programme for the team.- Manage local projects or support EU level projects

Shift Engineering FLM at De La RueResponsibilities:-• Hands on Engineering Front Line Manager, leading a team of multi-skilled engineers, ensuring compliance to business requirements.• To deliver continuous engineering support, asset care initiatives and C.I projects.• Day to Day planning and management of shift based engineering teams.• Prioritisation of workloads to ensure effectiveness of shift resources.• Ensure delivery of site Asset care program through TPM & PPM.• Coaching and development of shift team.• Contractor management & PTW.• Use CMMS data to identify, prioritise and deliver best practice.• Work with production team to plan effective Maintenance interventions.• Liaise with OEM for parts ordering and technical support.• MBWA.• Gemba.• Holiday authorisation, RTW, PDR’s.

Responsibilities: • Hands on Maintenance Team Leader.• Working on preventative and reactive maintenance, on high speed packaging lines and process control lines including fryers, heat exchangers, PLC controls, 3 phase power circuits, pneumatic and hydraulic control, mechanical pumps and vibratory systems.• Control Systems (fault finding & modifications).• Responsible for 3 direct reports, who I planned PDP SMART objectives, training plans, and holidays authorisation.• To provide an effective link between the Operations and Engineering Support Teams offering a high level of technical support and providing technical feedback in all engineering related activities.• Liaise with Maintenance Manager and Shift Production Manager to coordinate shift priorities including identification and communication of resource during engineering days.• QCDM and GEMBA walks.• Contractor PTW and management.• All work to be carried out within the GMP guidelines.Food safety/BRC/AIB and HACCP

Responsibilities: • Reactive fault finding and Preventative maintenance of plant machinery, including high speed packaging machines, robot packing machines, Process Controlled fryers and heat exchangers, PLC controls and fault finding, 3 phase power circuits, conveyor and vibratory systems, pneumatic and hydraulic controlled equipment. • Heavily involved in PLC control systems (mostly Allen Bradley, some Siemens S7) and Wonderware InTouch SCADA development. • PID control and feedback loops.• Continuous Improvement ideas.• Change Management.• RCA sessions using 5 WHYS and APS techniques.• Predictive Maintenance including Thermal imaging & Ultrasonic detection. • Use of Dynamic Risk Assessments.• Use of CSWP and SOP.• Use of CMMS (MP2), for preventative maintenance tasks and to log reactive work.• CRP (Consumer Risk Protection), clean as you go mentality.• All work to be carried out within the GMP guidelines.

Achievements and responsibilities: • Apprentice Maintenance Electrician, working to EITB modules.• Year 3 & 4, started shift work, working on high speed packing lines.• Year 4, working as main Electrician on shift for last 3 months of time.• One of the first Engineering apprentices to be awarded NVQ level 3.
