Growing up in south Florida we were always told you can be anything “but” that is not always the case. To be anything takes work, education, and passion, yet where I am from, work was what was most important. I had to make money, money for my family, then money for my wife and me to survive. So, school and passion took a back seat. For many years I have worked in a variety of roles to support my family. Which has allowed us to live a comfortable life and travel, however, something has always been missing for me. My wife and I were blessed a few years ago with our daughter whom we never thought we would have. This beautiful new chapter has motivated me to finally pursue my passion. In 2022 I invested in myself for the first time and set forth on my path to achieving my goals. I joined Springboard after a lot of research and contemplation. With over 20 years in the security field, it was a natural transition for me into the Cyber Security world. I have learned the skills needed to be successful in this field and have never been happier. I am a critical thinker with an eye for detail, so this has been a natural fit for me. I am excited for this new chapter in my life and blessed to be able to say you really can be anything you want.
