I have 30+ years experience as CEO, COO, CFO, board member, and VC investor driving enterprise SaaS and consumer internet companies from startup to $250M+. As a CEO, I've been a trusted advisor to Boards and teams, hired to turn around companies, scale operations globally, lead capital markets & fundraising, and manage investor relations. I've recruited and built multiple Finance teams and leveraged my MS and BS in Electrical Engineering from MIT to work cross-functionally across product and engineering.I'm proud of my track record of growth, profitability, and successful exits. I've successfully raised $100M+ of venture debt and equity. As CFO of Sun Basket, I turned the $200M company by $30M at the bottom line into profitability and led capital markets efforts yielding a merger valued at $1B+. As COO and CFO of Intalio, I successfully restructured, financed and executed M&A exit to three strategic buyers, yielding 100% employment and 5X+ return.Finally, before my executive roles, I had extensive Board and capital markets experience as a VC and entrepreneur. I served as General Partner at U.S. Venture Partners, and Summit Partners and led successful investments in application servers (NetDynamics, acquired by Sun Microsystems), firewalls (Check Point, NASDAQ: CHKP) and SaaS (Salesforce, NASDAQ: CRM). While at USVP, I co-founded Acta Technology (acquired by Business Objects), a pioneering Business Intelligence company. My start-up career began as a Director of Product Management at Channel Computing - bringing the first business intelligence tool to the Windows platform. Outside of work, I'm a 4-time Boston Marathon finisher, 3-time Ironman and triathlete completing over 25 Half-Ironman races.
