I was recruited to this position to fabricate a Work Base Structure (WBS) as foundation for an Integrated Master Schedule to accurately track workflows during organization’s explosive expansion. The new contract resulted in explosive growth in staff and work output for the global consultant to emerging democracies. I upgraded the User Interface (UX) to allow for easier automation as the system migrated to the cloud.

I was brought in to rescue a five-year-old project to increase inter-operability of US Marine amphibious vessels with NATO Allied Forces. Collaborating with the client on Plan of Action and Milestones, I shepherded the project to completion despite heavy travel schedule and responsibilities of team. Our actionable recommendations were approved by the general staff oversight committee -- including the need for full-time strategic consultant.

In this role, I matched highly skilled technical and operational personnel to key open positions within the organization. I identified suitably experienced mid-career talent, as well as high potential candidates tapped for inhouse development program. Within five months, I was promoted to a strategic role leading a junior cohort of trainees.

Attached to the Office of the Secretary of Defense, I led a 20-person cross-functional military team with a budget to utilize digital and social marketing tools in support of targeted recruiting initiatives. We conducted ongoing market research into youth markets and decision-making processes and revamped military physician recruiting, producing a ten-fold increase in website traffic. I was awarded a Joint Service Commendation Medal for the Physician market outreach increase.

I orchestrated Liberian Armed Forces’ planning for an Ebola Epidemic response. Prioritized assets across three continents to stabilize the epidemic containment and prepare for follow-on forces. In addition, I authored the Liberian Coast Guard’s five-year growth plan in collaboration with US and foreign governments as well as outlined support infrastructure, operational assets, and logistics required for successfully accomplishing mission. I planned for rapid construction of six treatment centers utilizing multinational interdisciplinary team that included Third World military assets – our construction was completed ahead of an ambitious schedule. I was awarded a Joint Commendation Medal for successful multinational planning efforts under adverse conditions.

I instructed more than 800 Afghan infantry leaders, increasing the Afghan infantry unit’s effectiveness through instruction and coordination of 46 combat patrols. We established nine autonomous military outposts in country’s most sparsely populated province.

In Jordan, I oversaw overseas deployment of 150 personnel on a truncated timeline. We created the Jordanian Officer Basic Course, educated 23 officers over three weeks in seven counterinsurgency principles to prepare for Afghanistan combat deployment.

I led a 30-member team in collaboration with US Special Forces and NATO soldiers to instruct 500 Afghan paramilitary police in anticipation of the transition of local security operations. My team accomplished 120 combat patrols.
