Mr. Marco Castillo is a recognized leader in aviation, global logistics, distribution, and transportation, with strong experience in import/export compliance, managing and organizing logistics for Airlines, major international manufacturing companies, helping start-ups plan and implement Final-Mile for ecommerce and developing strategies for Digital Transformation of the Freight Forwarding industry. Prior to joining GoHeavy Technologies LLC Mr. Castillo served as the CEO of Airstar Aviation, a company with an extensive portfolio of Latin American Cargo carriers he represented and marketed. He also directed international consultant activities for Airlines involving import/export infrastructure, route economics and capacity planning, asset acquisition, and other functions of air service development with airports in the US, Canada, Panama, Brazil and Mexico. He was the Regional Charter Manager at Arrow Air Cargo Airline, the oldest and largest Latin American cargo carrier, based in Miami. During his tenure at Arrow he lead sales development, operational optimization and Customer Experience transformation responsibilities. He also was the Distribution Manager of the Americas for Philips Consumer Communications group, a joint venture between Philips Electronics and Lucent. He served in several multi-discipline roles within Philips and was a member of their Logistics Management Board, and the Export Control Officer for the company. Mr. Castillo was a 7-year veteran of the Global Freight Forwarding industry where he started and built a professional reputation in international Distribution and Transportation programs for optimizing product flows and reducing delivery cycle times for international large scale logistics projects, including Motorola, a leader in the telecommunication industry.Mr. Castillo is the Founder, CEO and Lead Designer of GoHeavy Technologies LLC.
