- Identifying and developing the the next generation of Intelligence and Defense professionals and fostering cutting edge transdisciplinary research for the public good.- Working with leaders in government and academia to define and address complex problems. - Connecting research needs with appropriate top-level researchers.

I supervise and coordinate the administration and governance of graduate studies within the graduate program, work with graduate students, program faculty, and the college and Graduate School administrations. I represent the department at College- and University-level events/committees and interface with appropriate College and University administrators.

I serve as the principal investigator for various grant-funded research projects related to terrorism, conflict, illicit finance, transnational criminality, and corruption. I have led Countering Violent Extremism (CVE) and Preventing Violent Extremism (PVE) training in Southeast Asia and have built program evaluations (metrics and evaluation) of CVE and PVE programs in Africa. I have designed quantitative and qualitative research to support grant projects funded by the Department of Homeland Security, Department of Defense, State Department, and National Institute of Justice.

I led the radiation and nuclear detection asset team. I also served as the GIS SME for the office. I wrote and presented briefs to Senior Executive Service and GS-15 level officials. I produced numerous analytic products and mentored junior staff in analytic writing and briefing.

I supported counterproliferation activities via research and GIS for a geospatial cell which created 3D renderings of facilities utilizing SOCETSET.

I authored military leadership biographies and other research products for government customers.
