As a board operator I am responsible for editing the any pre-gamer interview and getting the playlist loaded for the start of the game. During the game I must listen to the on-air person for any verbal ques for when to run any commercial breaks. I am contractually obligated to play all the commercials in the play list at least twice per game. At the top of every hour or with-in 15 minutes of the top of the hour I am required to run a station ID. Since these are live events I must think quickly so if the signal is lost I need to go to commercial, so there is no dead air, and assist in reestablishing the connection.
