Assisting the Driller and in charge of drilling and completion operation. Making adjustments needed to drill and complete wells as per specifications safely and efficiently. Ensure that all well control equipment is good working order and crew is trained on the equipment. As the rig crew was a significant portion of time to be dedicated to building both the safety and performance culture on the rig floor.

As a Derrickhand I was in charge of drilling and completion fluid operation. I was in charge of pump line ups needed to pump fluids downhole. Supervised and trained the Asst. Derrickhand on pit room and pump room operations. Responsible for the safety and cleanliness of the mud module. As a Assistant Derrickhand I was responsible for the maintenance and operations of the mud pumps and fluid transfer pumps. I mixed chemicals needed to maintain fluid properties. I assisted on the rig floor when needed. As a Roughneck I worked under the supervision of the Driller and Assistant Driller. I was responsible for the making up of tools and pipe that was ran downhole. I also assisted in the maintenance of all drilling equipment. I was also responsible for the safety of my crew members and I. As a Roustabout I was in charge of the rigging of loads moved with the cranes. I was responsible for the cleanliness of the decks around the rig. I assisted in the maintenance of the cranes. Assisted any other departments as needed.

I was in charge of preparing pouring iron into molds that was used to make parts for automobiles. Made sure all ingredients for ductile iron be poured into the casting mold.
