Fulfilled critical role as part of the RWAP team, providing expert level technical guidance to waste generators throughout the DOE Complex. Primary area of audit focus was QA. Responsible for characterization, closure activities, and field implementation oversight for environmental restoration projects. Other areas of responsibility included mixed waste verification, technical writing, and document control. Participated in audits and surveillances of waste generator programs throughout DOE Complex to verify compliance with applicable waste acceptance criteria, DOE, DOT, EPA, state, and local regulations. Ensure generator programs are developed in accordance with DOE Order 435.1 and QA principals (Title 10 CFR 830.122 and/or DOE Order 414.1). Analyzed, evaluated, and approved waste profiles using DOE, federal, and state regulations to determine suitability for waste acceptance/disposal at the NNSS. Implemented project technical scope and functioned as the field point of contact for the DOE and Nevada Division of Environmental Protection (NDEP) personnel. Developed project documents and deliverables, such as Corrective Action Plans, Implementation Plans, Closure Reports, Sampling and Analysis Plans, and OSHA Site Specific Health and Safety Plans. Participated as a Technical Lead for the characterization, closure activities, and field implementation oversight for environmental restoration projects, including collection of characterization and verification environmental samples.
