Temporary Assignment: Senior Flight Dispatch

- Duty Manager: team supervision, assessments, training and objectives - Projects: FAR Flight Dispatch & Operational Control reorganisation within IOCCDispatch fuel saving, Meteorology, VOLCEX Member, SESAR (PJ07, PJ24 & PJ25)

- Coordinate AOC Operational Approvals (ETOPS, LVO, RVSM/MNPS). - Analyse Operational documents, projects and amendments (ICAO, IATA, EU-OPS) for dissemination, coordination and integration (Operations Manual, procedures).- Update ICAO Library.- Establish Regulatory Operational Reports and animate meetings (ICAO, French Met Services, French CAA). - Provide Operational expertise (ASR, Dispatch).- Participate in WG (EU-OPS transition). - Advise and support regulatory affairs. - Participate in Dispatcher’s training course.

- Duty Manager: team supervision, operational support, route & aircraft performance analysis, training.- Assist & supervise flight plan/aircraft airworthiness according to procedures. - Flight watch (weather, airport availability & critical events).- Provide continuous assistance to Crew & Operations Controllers.- Revise and update current documentation, instruction and procedures manuals.- Participate in WG (ACARS, Weather Alert display, MEL/CDL dispatch, NAT planning, European CDM projects, BOBCAT)

- Monitor flight regularity.- Cross-check Airport/Over-fly charges.- Secure JAR OPS and Company operational procedures compliance.

- Market study: route analysis and airport classification (Cat A, B, C).- Store and update the route data base in accordance with NOTAMS and the European Standard Route Scheme (S.R.S.).- Publish Runway Take Off Charts (A320, A300).

- Responsible for operations outside the USA. - Prepare safe, efficient and economical flight plans intra Europe, transatlantic and pacific (M.A.C. for Operation Desert Storm), E.T.O.P.S, R.V.S.M. and M.E.L. restrictions. - Joint responsibility with the aircraft Commander: flight plan and flight watch. - NOTAMS and SIGMETS follow up and dissemination. - Weather watch including upper and lower level charts and satellite picture. - Co-ordinate with C.F.M.U. Brussels to improve any A.T.C. slots. - Update Manuals and routes data base.

- Prepare flight documentation, crew briefings and slot management.- Supervise and coordinate loading of baggage, air freight, air mail.- Load control, weight and balance B727, B747, B767, L1011.
