I am a Partner in Deloitte Advisory, within our M&A Transaction Services practice. In this role, I work with a variety of companies as they grow through acquisition or adjust their strategic objectives through divestiture. My specific area of expertise is in finance due diligence, leveraging my extensive financial accounting and reporting experience. I also support clients and other Deloitte professionals leading tax, information technology, human resource and operations due diligence activities, in addition to merger integration and divestiture efforts. I work with and lead broad teams to help clients execute complex transactions successfully.

Prague, Czech Republic

Partner - I served as the European relationship Partner for Deloitte services to Delphi Corporation, based in Prague, Czech Republic. I was responsible for all Deloitte services (Audit, Tax, M&A, and Consulting) performed for Delphi in Europe and acted as the key relationship point of contact for Delphi executives in the region.- I led the US Client group for Deloitte Central Europe, with responsibility for training and development of the professionals supporting US GAAP and GAAS audits in Deloitte Central Europe.- I delivered audit, consulting and other services to a variety of clients including US Steel, Tenneco, Microsoft, ArvinMeritor, CME Group and others.

I served some of the firm’s largest and most complex global clients through the delivery of audit services, M&A, and various aspects of financial and operational transformation. Some highlights of my career in the Audit practice of Deloitte include: Staff Accountant and Manager- I served as the lead senior accountant for the manufacturing related audit work at the Dow Chemical Company. I developed and implemented a common audit process for these areas globally, and worked with Deloitte member firms to test and refine these processes, leading to a more efficient and effective audit process and the ability to develop deeper insights into our clients business processes. - I was the lead senior accountant and manager for our audit services to Detroit Diesel and the Stroh Brewery Company. I coordinated Deloitte’s global audit procedures, working with Deloitte member firms around the world. In addition, I assisted clients with SEC reporting and resolution of complex accounting and reporting issues. Senior Manager - I served as the lead senior manager for Deloitte services to Delphi Corporation.- I led the Deloitte team supporting Delphi in their separation and spin-off from General Motors Corporation and Delphi’s subsequent initial public offering. - I led Deloitte services supporting Delphi in various strategic M&A initiatives, including the divestiture of their Seating and Lighting businesses and the acquisition of Lucas Diesel Systems, among others. - I cultivated and sustained Deloitte relationships for the largest operating units of Delphi and frequently led the resolution of complex accounting, financial reporting and business process issues.
