In 2017, a revolutionary new line of blended sakes “TANAKA 1789 x CHARTIER” was developed and handcrafted at the brewery in partnership with Francois Chartier, world’s best sommelier (Paris 1994) and creator of “Molecular Harmonies” – an aromatic science based on the potential for aromatic synergy between foods, and different beverages like wine and sake.
