When I was a kid, I used to dream about working in the Video Game Industry. Back then, people didn't really view it as a "real job." Instead, I ended up getting into music. As I was reaching the final cadence of my bachelor's in Music Technology, a professor helped me realize that I already had plenty of transferrable skills through an assignment where we looked at a job that we thought we might never be able to achieve. Fast-forward to my senior lecture, and I was able to create an interactive demonstration using Spatial Audio.Once I had some time away from college, I realized the passion I had as a child was still there, and now I could take actionable steps towards achieving my dreams. Through music, I learned how to communicate with others, think creatively, and how to truly connect with people through my work. I now find myself as a Computer Scientist, and I spend everyday looking forward to the next problem to solve, the next language to learn, and the next colleague with whom I can share ideas.
