Experience of working within a Local Authority Child and Family area team. Both Child in Need and Child Protection, S.47 enquiries / court work. In depth knowledge of Signs of Safety and application of its methodology. Extensive child centred direct work with all ages and ability to adapt existing direct work exercises to fit in with a child`s interests.Experience of working in a Local Authority Adults / Older Persons team. Working in a variety of settings; convalesce and psychiatric hospital, within private residential and care homes and in the community with service users living in their own homes.Both of the above roles involved periodic rota cover for the team. They also involved extensive in depth assessment of need and secondary service identification and referral.Both roles were also largely multi-discipline and experience of working with carers, parents, schools, health professionals, law enforcement, other inter LA departments.
