Lead a team of 4 Medical Technologists in conducting genetic testing, during this time I was a part of a group effort in increasing work production by 200%. I also planned and executed the migration of our company’s technology equipment and resources after an emergency event. This included everything from moving laboratory equipment and desktops over to the new laboratory location as well as setting up both a local and cloud NAS to prevent any data loss.

I was responsible for conducting high complexity molecular diagnostic tests using QuantStudio, a software analysis tool for gene expression and genotyping. I also regularly updated and managed laboratory results and patient data within the Labgen LIS environment to ensure proper metrics and accurate reporting of test results.
