As a Student Writer Intern, I worked under Ohio University Communications Specialist Lori Bauer in the Department of Arts and Sciences. I was tasked with interviewing students, taking notes, and writing detailed articles to convey the student body's experience on campus. This would sometime entail interviewing students on camera. These articles would sometimes be included in the Ohio University newsletter or on the student website. This helped me gain experience writing in a journalistic format for publication.

In this role, I worked for third a party inventory management agency known as Bevinco. Using their proprietary software, I would travel to clients business to conduct inventory audits of food and beverages. I would then use said software to provide clients with reports that identify financial loss in their business. In this role, I gained knowledge in inventory management systems and analytics. This role required very thorough interpersonal and written communication.

In this position, I worked to ensure customers were given great costumer service and provided with fresh produce and other goods. I would clean, prepare, and stock produce goods. I also made sure to help customers find products and resolve any issues that would arise. I also contributed by using a pallet jack to unload trucks of product and transport it to the appropriate department.
