As an intern, I was involved in developing and implementing innovative strategies and business initiatives to drive growth opportunities for philanthropy, fundraising and engagement initiatives under Community Chest, and drive social innovation in Singapore.In order to propose a strategy and help with reviewing the criteria of the Community Chest Awards, I had to research on the social service landscape, analyse data from past year awards, benchmark analysis against other awards, and research on the best way forward to propose a strategy that is clearly backed by data, distilling insight from the data and research collected. I had also been tasked with several tasks to automate backend processes in order to leverage technology and build efficiency from automating repetitive tasks using my knowledge and skills in Python. This saved the team up to 3 days of manual work per process automated.

Commissioned as a Naval Officer from Officer Command School (OCS) and understudied numerous processes within the Navy which required detailed planning and flawless execution.
