The system was put into place as a means of providing a secure infrastructure that met 99.999% availability and encrypted server communications to network support elements. The design was in answer to new NERC secure service requirements outlined in CIP-007. Since that initial project, Mr. Moses has gone on to work with many utilities in addressing their communication design and computing infrastructure needs. Mr. Moses has performed in projects that include substation SCADA device configuration, query building for utility proprietary databases, asset health management, rural broadband community analysis and many years of troubleshooting network management software issues. Mr. Moses has spent the last three years creating configurations for SCADA devices operating in substations and the managing projects.
