I was previously the Director Nutrition and Dietetics, Princess Alexandra Hospital. I have held leadership positions both within the Dietitians Association of Australia (DAA) and the AND. I developed the Malnutrition Screening Tool to identify patients at risk of malnutrition. The tool has been implemented in hundreds of hospitals worldwide, including by the Department of Defence and Veterans Affairs in the USAI have been awarded the DAA National Award of Merit, Barbara Chester Award and the President’s Innovation Award. I have also received an Australia Day Achievement Award.I received my Graduate Diploma of Nutrition and Dietetics and Doctoral degrees from Queensland University of Technology and Masters in Business Administration from Franklin University in the USA.
