• Review Banquet Event Orders at the beginning of each shift to ensure the banquet room is set as per the customer’s request.• Attend all pre-shift meetings to ensure events flow smoothly.• Performs all tasks associated with executing an event, from simple setups to gala five courses dinner.• Set up Buffets, food and beverage service, and refreshing all and coffee stations as needed.• Communication with the Banquet Captain regarding any special requirements.• Delivering alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for service to the guests’ table.• Maintaining a proper dining experience, delivering items, fulfilling customer needs, removing courses, and replenishing utensils.• Prepared tables, action stations, and service carts. Make sure everything is clean.• Set up and replenish buffet, Sweet Tables, and Coffee stations to ensure consistency and freshness in presentation.• Prepared Coffee Breaks with appropriate food and beverages as stated in the event order.• Remove china, glassware, silverware, etc. from tables at the beginning and conclusion of the meal period and deliver them to the stewarding area for cleaning. • Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service.• Respond to guest requests in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner.• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned station and service areas.• Ensure all meeting rooms are clean and set for any possible site inspections.• Assist others with side work including cleaning, stocking, folding napkins, polishing silverware, etc.
